lane in the Parish of Saint Botolph without Old gate in the said
County Marrnes William Chapman< no role > of the same place Lighterman and
Peter Mayne< no role > of Wats Squarein theEast Smith Feild Gentleman Taken
upon Oath this 24th. day of October 1789 Before Robert Smith< no role > Esqr. one
of his Majestys Justice of the Peace in and for the said County

First the said Robert Adamson< no role > says on Wednesday the 21st day
of October Instant about Eight o Clock in the Evening he was in Company
with the two Prisoner Present Who say their names are Mary Owen< no role > and
Sarah Malone< no role > at the Block Boy upon salt Peter Bank that When he came
out the Prisoner Come out with him said hold of him me on one side and
the other on the other and disputed Who Should go along with him that as
they had hold of him a Man Came up took hold go him and Dammed his Eyes
and Limbs and said What was he doing there and laid hold of his Coller When
they all Damned him and Immediatly turned his Pocket out and took out
half a Guinea in Gold and Seven Shillings in Silver that when they had got
his Money they all let go of him When he ran away for fear of his life.

William Chapman< no role > an Says about nine o Clock of Wednesday Evening
the Twenty First day of October Instant Adamson came to his house
and said he had been very ill treated and Robbed he said upon Saltpeter
Bank by Two Woman and a Man that he Know the Woman he had been
Drinking with them but did not Know the Man thattheon Thursday
Evening he went along with Mayne and Dawson upon Salt peter Bank
When Adamson Printed not the Two Prisoner to be the Two Concerned in
Robbing him

Peter Mayne< no role > says that Present and Chapman came to him
Required him of the Circumstance that he whent with them upon salt peter
Bank Prosecutor Pointed out the Prisoners and he apprehanded them
