him leaving at that time said Stephenson in his Compting
House and said Collins in his Shop That Informant then place
himself in the Passage in order to observe said Stephenson conduct thro'
the said Hole and in about ten minutes he saw said
Stephenson place himself by said Till and immediately
draw out the same into which he put his hand which
he afterward applied to his pocket and then Shut the till
again that Informant then unlocked the door went into
the Shop and took said Stephenson by the Collar and told
him he had Robbed him when said Stephenson took out
the money in his right hand Breech as pocket amounting
to about Eight or Nine Shillings all which he lay or the
Compter That Informant desired said Collins to go, and
examine said Till telling him that he Informant had put
therein an half Guinea and Eleven Shillings and Six pence in
Silver and desired to know what he found therein who
replied there was only on half Guinea andEiSeven
Shillings and two Six pences That Informant then
examined the money on the Compter which had been produced
by said Stephenson among which he found the half Crown
and Shilling now produced and which he is very sure is
a part of the money he so marked and put into said Till
as aforesaid And the said Charles Morris< no role > for himself says
that he marked said money with Mr. Potter as described by
him And that he bored the hole with him in the Partition of
his passage and & is very sure that the Half Crown and
Shilling now produced is a part of the money so marked
by them And the said Richard Collins< no role > for himself says that
from the time of said Mr. Potter's putting said marked money
into the Till to the time of Mr. Potter securing said
Stephenson no person whatever was in said Shop or went to
said Till And further says that when Informant examined
