Who being on their Oaths severally say and first the said John Weldon< no role >

himself saith that on the 23d or 24th. of May last there was Stole from his
Masters Barge No. 712 then lying on the River Thames
in the City of London
Two Tarpawlins his masters property [..] which sd. Tarpawlins
[..] hath been found by nest Dennis Cranny< no role >
and brought to the
Virginia Planter opposite the Public office Shadwell where he this Informant
has seen them (in the presence of Peter Greene< no role >
Esqr.) upon the prisoner now
present who says his name is Richard Wiggins< no role >
on the 29th. of May last

And the said Dennis Cranay< no role >
for himself saith that on the 29th. of May
last he received Informant of Two Tarpawlins suspected to be stole to be
on Board the Sand Barge called the Mary Ann< no role >
that he Boarded the said
Barge off Blackwall
in the sd. County of Middx
and found therein the two
Tarpawlins now produced in the possession of the prisoner now present,
That Informant [..] heard Wm. Elbey< no role >
ask the prisoner how he came by sd. Tarpawlins answered
they belonged to the Barge and was his masters property and was for the
use of covering of Corn and this Informant lastly saith that he secured
the sd. Richard Wiggins< no role >
and brought him for Examination at the public
office aforesaid
