taken on Oath the 18th. day of
February 1788 before me one of his Majestys Justices
of the Peace
for the County of Middlesex
Who on his Oath Saith That on Friday night the
Eighth day of February Instant William Bedwell< no role >
came to him at his house in Cable Street
White Chapel
Parish about Eight OClock, told this Informant he
had some property and desired him to come to his room
in Cable street
which he did and when he came there he
found the said William Bedwell< no role >
, John Myer< no role >
and William
Lewis< no role >
, there together they then Offered to sell him a Gown
some Shauls a Silk handkerchief and Apron
and some Silk on Bobbins, he [..] bought of them the
Gown and Shauls and Silk Handkerchief for twelve
shillings which he paid Myer, he told them he was
no judge of the Silk but he would try what he could do
with it, And on the Sunday night following he paid Myer
his past which was five shillings and Six pence and in
the Evening of the same day he paid Bedwell for Lewis
five Shillings and sixpence more And that [..]
