Murdered that the said Cannon went away immediately.that he
this Informant and Pennyfeather went up to her and found her
in a Deplorable State, and they took her down to the bottom of
the Lane - then Pennyfeather let him and went ot hos Duty -
and this Informant then called one Gardner the Watchman at
the next stand - and desired him to stay by the Woman while
he this Informant went to call the Beadle. that the Beadle
came very soon, and abut Five o'clock they conveyed her to
the Workhouse but he was afraid she would have died before she
got thereThat he this Informant (at Day light) went
to the place where she was first discovered. and found
a vast quantity of blood - and in a large clott of blood he
found one of the Poor Woman's Ears which he gave to Mr.
Reid the Surgeon, and he also found a piece of Stick with
Marks of blood on it - appeared to have been broke in
beating herand healso found the Stone of a Seals which
he supposed belonged to the person who beat her
