Middlesex to Wit

The Information of Simon Burn< no role > of Cannon
near Edgward Servant to Captain Andrew
Dennis
< no role > O'Kelly of the same place and John
Wright
< no role > of Jermyer Street Saint James's taken
before me this 25th. day of November 1788.

Who being upon Oath saith that on Thursday morning
last a Quantity of Lead was ripped cut and stolen from
off a certain Building, used and occupied with the
Dwelling House of his said Master at Cannon aforesaid
That he hath viewed and measured the Lead now produced
by the said John Wright< no role > and is very sure that it is the
same that was stolen as aforesaid from off the said
Building - And the said John Wright< no role > for himself saith
that on Saturday morning last he saw [..] a person now
present who calls himself William Clare< no role > walking along
the Road near Kilburn and observing him to have two large Bags
with him he suspected him to have some Stolen property
therein - That he stopped said Clare and asked him what
he had got there, who replied old Pewter - That he then
opened said Bags, in one of which he found the said
Stolen Lead and a large Goose and in the other another
large Goose when he immediately secured the paid Clare
