The Information of David Crichton< no role > of Buckingham Street
York Buildings Constable who being duly Sworn upon
his Oath saith that on the 24th Day of November Instant
about half an Hour after Eleven O'Clock in the Evening
he was at Saint Martins Watch House (being Constable
of the Night) when the person now present who calls himself
William Strickland< no role > was brought in and Charged by
Samuel Hooton< no role > for robbing him of a Watch that this
depot received the Watch fromof Saint
Martins Lane - Habit Maker who said he had picked
it up from between the feet of the Prisoner.

The Information of John Ravenhill< no role > of No.14 Little Saint
Martins Lane Taylor who being duly sworn saith that on the 24th
day of November Instant about Eleven o'clock in the Evening as he
going along Cranbourne Alley he heard a Person say he had lost
his Watch when he saw William Strickland< no role > the Prisoner now
present run past him when this Informant putout his Foot
which the Prisoner Stumbled against that then this Informant
called stop thief when he saw the Prisoner brought back to the
end of Cranbourne Alley in Castle Street when he was Surrounded
by a Number of People a great many of Which suspected to be park
pockets nearing some body say search him which was Immediately done which he didand not
finding the watch the Informant looked down to the Prisoners
feet where he [..] saw the Watch which he took up (the Glass being
broke) when he called out I have got the Watch take care of the
Prisoner.
