The Information of John Muirhead< no role > [..] No. 2 in
Elbow Lane Parish of St. Paul Shadwell in the said County
Cordwainer and James Pearee< no role > at No. 1 in the same Lane
Butcher taken the 9th. day of Sepr 1788 before us Two of his
Majestys Justices of the Peace in and for the said County who being
on Oath Say and first the said John Muirhead for himself saith
on Saturday the 6th of Sepr Instant about the hour if Seven in
the Morning the Leather Pumps produced his property Value Four
Shillings were hanging on the Inside of his ShopThat while he
was dealing with another person Seeing. the person present at the Door
who saith his name is Lawrence Wilson< no role > and going away he Jas [..]
missed the said [..] pumps pursued the said Laurence and with
Thirty yard he over took and found the said pumps under his Waistcoat
James Pearce< no role > for himself saith at the time and Place foresaid
he saw the said John Burhead take the Leather pumps produced from
the said Lawrence Wilson< no role >
