The Information of Wm. Turner< no role > Joseph Elliot< no role > & Elizabeth
Wharton
< no role > taken on Oath this 13th day of August 1788

Wm. Turner< no role > for himself says that last
Night about Ten o'Clock he was at the Crown in tye Street dins
[..] ing a pint of Beer that he there saw two Woman now
present that call themselves Elizabeth Robein & Arm Camp
-ble that the sd. Woman asked this Infor. to go with them to
the Lodgings of Said Ann Compble< no role > that this Infort. went wth
the said Woman to sd. Lodgings undress'd himself & went to Bed
to the said Woman putting his Breeches under his pillow that
this Infort had a Leather Bag in his Right hand Breeches Peak
at containing One half Crown Two Shillings (One Marks) a New hall
Guinea and a Silver penny tid to the sd. Bagg when he went 15th
these said Woman to the sd. Lodgings that after this Infort had been
in Bed about a Quarter of an Hour hearing something at bed
Breeches he cryd out you are picking my Pockett that said
and Campble Tumpt< no role > out of Bed made no answer but went out
of the Room that this Infort. Missd his Bagg & Money and told
Elizabeth Robin they had Robbed him that she answered if he was
Robb'd it was the other Girl that had done it buts at me go &
find her & you shall have your Money again that upon this
Infort. consenting sd. Elizabeth Robbins< no role > dressd herself and went
act of the Room that the Bagg now produced is the same
that this infort had been robbd Hand Markd Shillings and
believes the new half Guinea now produced that half Crown
the other Shillings are all his Money and likewise the Silver
penny tied to the Bagg and Castly this Infor. says the sd.
two Woman declard to him when he first saw them that they
neither of them had any Money

Joseph Elliot< no role > says he is a Patrole that
about One O'Clock this Morning he saw from Turper who
said he had been Robbd that this Infort went to the Lodging
of Ann Campble< no role > with said Wm. Turner and upon search-
-ing under the Bed towards the head found the Leather
Bagg now produced with a Silver Penny tied to it that
this Infort had stept the said Ann Campble< no role > & Elizabeth
Robins
< no role > and upon saying to Ann Campble he should first
her meaning search sd. Ann Campble answered He save
yor the Trouble and pulled out of her Pocket a New have
Guinea a half Crown & two Shillings & lastly upon this Infort
asking the said Ann Campble< no role > were she got the Money answered
from a Farmer in Pipe Maker Alley

Elizabeth Wharton< no role > further self in
that she lodges at the Crown in tye Street that about the hour
Ten last night she saw Wm. Turner< no role > in Company with sd. Eliza
beth Robins
< no role > & Ann Campble< no role > drinking at the said House
