Who being upon Oath says that on Friday
last having a draft on Messrs. Batson Stephenson
and Co: for the Payment of Two Hundred and
Twenty Pounds six Shillings and two pence and
being then at the House of John Balfort< no role > in Pl [..]
Alley Wapping he Acquested the said Balfort to
go with him to receive said Money when said
Balfort suggested that he was not sufficiently
Master of the English language and therefore
proposed to take Aaron Mendoza< no role > his [..]
him that Informant said Balfort and Mendoza
then went together in a Coach to said Bankers
when Informant received the Money in Bank
Notes and Cash and immediately returned in said
Coach to said Balforts House That Mendoza
staid with him about half an Hour and then
went away as he believes that in about two
Hours afterwards he counted his Notes [..]
in the presence of a Soldier and said Balfort
That after he had counted them said Balfort
sat down
