Acre
in the said county pawn broker taken
before me this 8th day of July 1788.
Who being upon Oath saith that on Thursday the third
day of July last between the hours of Seven and eight o Clock a
person now present who calls himself Herbert Burlton< no role >
came
to his Shop in Long Acre
aforesaid and offered to him the Gold
[..] amelled outside Watch Case now produced and Sworn to
by the Right Honble. Charles Lord< no role >
Southampton
at the same
time claiming three Guineas as a Reward for bringing the
same and slating that this Informant had Advertised
the Case of a Gold Watch with such a Reward which had
been last by a Friend of his That Informant on looking
at said Watch Case and further enquiry found that said
Watch Case had been Advertised together with a Watch
by his Lordship on which he immediatly caused the
said Herbert Burlton< no role >
to be Secured
