George Stamps< no role > the above named Prisoner and
George Slater< no role > of Queen Street Seven Dials in the County
of Middlesex Saw Maker Severally make Oath and
say And first this Deponent George Stamps< no role > for
himself saith that Edward Woodward< no role > of Walsall near
Birmingham in the County of Stafford Plater John
Lawton
< no role > of Wednasbury in the aforesaid County of Stafford
Plater And John White< no role > house of Stary Street in the
Parish of Saint Giles in the Fields in the County of
Middlesex Plater are material Witnesses for this
Deponent and without their Testimony this Deponent
further Saith that he hath Caused a Subpence to Issue
in Order to serve the said Edward Woodward< no role > John Lawton< no role >
and John White< no role > house with and hath Caused all due
Diligence to be use to serve the same but without Effect
and which said Subpence is hereunto annexed, And
this Deponent further Saith that the reason of the said
Edward Woodward< no role > and John Lawton< no role > not being served
was on Account of their living such a long distance from
London being above one Hundred Miles and this Deponent
not being taken into Custody until the Thirteenth day
of September Instant and that one Hundred Miles
from London and was not brought to Town untill
