he went into said Clareys House which had been burnt down with James Gubbins< no role > the
Surveyor of the Sun Fire office in order to look for the remains of
Metal Buttons of Which Informant understood Clarey had charged
60 Gross in his Claim made upon the Sun Fire Office but no
remains of which could be discoveredThat Informant [..] Picked out of the
reins several pieces of Cloth and Rags which appeared to him to
have been soaked in Ail and which Informant has ever since had
in his Custody- That Said Clarey appeared to be only in a very
smal way of Business - had only a few Old Cloths in his Shop
