before me this 10th. day of March 1788

Who being upon Oath says that about four o'Clock
in the Afternoon of Monday last the third day
of March the person now present who calls
himself James Pearce< no role > came into her
Husbands Shop and asked this Informant if
she knew where Mr. Nassy lived at which
time a Paper Parcel containing a quantity
of White Metal Thimbles lay upon a Glass
Case near the place where the said James
Pearce< no role > stood that immediately after the said James
Pearce< no role > left the Shop this Informant missed
the said Thimbles And this Informant
further says she is very sure the said
James Peace feloniously stole the same
