The Information of Thomas Cole< no role > of Ratcliff Highway Waterman
and John Orange< no role > of Elbow Lane Weaver both in the Parish of Saint Paul
Shadwell in the said County Taken this Seventh day of March 1788 before us two of
his Majesty's Justices of the peace [..] and for the said County
Thomas Cole< no role > on his Oath saith on Thursday morning last John
Norbory came to him and said he had been robbed of Thirty Nine
Guineas by Two Woman in New Gravel Lane near the Barley
more Says he John Fletcher< no role > and John Orange< no role > went to a house situate
in Crown [..] Court near King Street Sr George from an information
That three Woman one in a Black Gown and Two otherwaswere at
the said house concealed suspected to have committed said Robbery
Says John Orange< no role > and John Fletcher< no role > went up Stair himself
staying below to prevent any person going out that not
getting admittance the Door of a Room was broke open he
went up where were Ann Fox< no role > Sarah King< no role > and Mary Doughlass
That they searched the Room and found on a Bed concealed and in the Blankets a Run neat of new
Cloth a pair of new Cotton Stockings a Piece of Striped printed Call [..]
one Black Skirt one New Linnen Shift, two paid of Callimancoe
Woman Slipper a Cushion for the head a Woman hair pad One piece
of Black Crape for a Gown One pea Green Stuff Shirt Three [..] pieces of
Muslin [..] Two pair of Cotton Stockings one Linen Shift and as
piece of Dyed Linnen says there was in the said Room a Tap
of the size of a Four Gallon Cash or there about fall of Water
says he felt with his Stick and found at the Bottom the Number Grater
produced having Two Queen Arm Four George the first and one of George
the Second Guineas five Shillings and Two Six penny pieces in Silver all
of Which Articles and Many are now produced

John Orange< no role > on his Oath saith on Sarah King< no role > he found The Tin Lacquered Box produced
containing Five half Crown pieces produced and likewise found in Deal Box in
the said Room the Lacquered Bone Box produced containing a half Guinea in Gold of
George the third.
