22 March 1788

Agnes Brown< no role > of Cable Street St. George Middlesex Widow on her Oath saith
The Two Women present who say their names are burn Price and Ann
Barnett
< no role > on Thursday the 20th of March instant came into her Shop instant
as aforesaid about a Quarter of an hour before Eleven at night and asked
for a Bason of Soup says she put some to Warm on the fire where both Price
and Barnett came to That Barnett soon after said she would go and fetch
Coleman to see what he Would have for his supper That she and Coleman
came in and Colman asked for some Pigs fry which she this Inform went to the Window
for some Fry and that during the Time she was serving Coleman with
the Fry The said Ann Price< no role > and Aim Barnett took a Linen Shirt
and Two Muslin Aprons Value Twelve Shillings from off a Bureau< no role > which was close to the
fire and immediately went awaySays she is certain The said
Two Woman took the said Shirt and Aprons she having just folded
them and put them on the said Burace as the said Woman came in and that no
other person but they and Coleman came into her house after her folding
the said Articles aforesaidand that it was not possible for Coleman to have
taken said Shirt and Aprons

Ann Price< no role > says she went on Thursday night last with Ann Coleman< no role > otherwise
Ann Barnett< no role > into the Shop of Agnes Brown< no role > for a Pound of Pigs Fry
and asked for some Soup. That Ann Coleman< no role > otherwise Barnett [..] went and
fetched Coleman to have some Fry that whilst the Fry was serving
she stood at the Counter supping the soup with her Companion and
when done they both went away with the man Coleman to Sup at
the Blue Anchor together then being between the hours of Ten and
Eleven at Night and know nothing of the said Shirt and Aprons
Ann Barnett< no role > says she lives with Thomas Coleman< no role > who gave her
Six pence to get some Supper says she went with Ann Price< no role > about
half past Ten on Thursday night last to the house of Agnes Brown< no role >
and had a pound of Pigs fry and some Soup was put on the fire to Warm
[..] she went To Coleman told him what there was for Supper he then
being and the Blue Anchor public house That she returned with Coleman
to the said house of Brown That Agnes Brown< no role > cut him a found of Pigs Fry
whilst she and Ann Price< no role > had the Soup and that they all three came
out of the house of Brown together went to the said Public house
and had the Fry dressed for their Supper
