down Arlington Street he heard the crop of Murder by
a Woman. That he went to her when she informed
him That some Theeves had got into the House
That on her expressing a Fear to let him in he went
to an adjoining House where he found the Prisoner
Edward Price< no role > concealed under the Stair Case
The he dragged him from thence and delivered
him into the custody of the Workman And the
said Robert Smith< no role > for himself says that being with
his Wife in a House in Saint James Street which
adjourned the back of said Mr. Luckhurst's That
hearing a Noise This Informant and his Brother
in Law William Penticost searched for same
time when they found the Persons now present
who calls themselves John Rich< no role > and Davis
Bostick
< no role > in the Dust hole of Mr. Crane's House
And the said Stephen Pitt< no role > for himself says
that he was called in to Assist at the House of said
Luckhurst That he searched said Price on whom
he found the Knife and two prices of Candle now
Produced And the said Thomas Millard< no role > for himself
says that he was present in the Watch House
when the Flint Steel Matches and Knife now
produced were found upon said Rich.
