Who being on Oath severally say and first the said
William Groom< no role >
for himself saith that he is employ'd
in repairing a House belonging to Daniel Luck hurst
in Arlington Street
That between seven and eight
o'Clock last Night he saw the three Iron Bars
now produced affixed in a Stone Stair Case in the
said House That when he was going to bed at
about a quarter before eight o'Clock he heard a
Noise in the said House That in going to see
what was the Matter a Man came down Stairs
ran by him and got off That he then called out
for Assistance in consequence of which the Person
now present [..] and calling himself Edward

was apprehended That in going up Stairs
he observed the said Iron Bars removed from their
place and in the broken situation now produced
And this Informant further says that he was
present when the House breaking Implements
now produced wore found upon the Stair Case
near the spot from whence the Iron Bars were
removed And the said Samuel Clark< no role >
for himself
saith That being called by said Groom to assist
him he accompanied him into the said House
where they found the said House breaking Implements
And the said Joseph Wright< no role >
for himself says
that about 8 o'Clock last Night as he was coming down
