Majesty's Justices of the Peace
for
the said County
Who being severally upon Oath say And first this
Informant John Jenkinson< no role >
for himself saith that
on the Night of theabout half hour past One o Clock
in the Morning at the 23d. of December last as he was
going home he was attacked in So he Square by the
person now present who calls himself Benjamin Nash< no role >
when the said Nash Seized this Informant by the
Collar thorough the Violence of which he either fell on
was thrown down on his Back upon the Pavement
when the said Benjamin Nash< no role >
stood over this
Informant saying several times blast your bloody Eyes
Your Watch that the said Nash then Stooped and
turned the right hand Breeches pocket of this Informt
in side out from whence he look half a Guinea in Gold
five Shillings in Silver together with a Bad Shilling
now produced and Sworn to be Property of this Informant
this Informant being under great apprehension of
mischief being done to him took out his Watch which
the said Nash forcibly snatched out of his hand
as he was still laying on the Pavement And this
Informant upon his Oath saith that she said Benjamin
Nash< no role >
positively is the Man who so Attacked and
Robbed him as aforesaid

for themselves say that having received
description & Information of the abovementioned Benjamin
Nash< no role >
they apprehended him upon the 30th. of December
