Taken upon Oath before me Joseph Girdler< no role >
Esqr. are of his Majesty's Justices of the
Peace in and for the said County of
Middlesex this 8th. day of January 1789

This Informant upon his Oath saith that
on Saturday having the 6th. day of this Instant January he
was met by Elizabeth Crimes< no role > in Chick Lane who
took him this said Informant into a Roan in
Black bay Alley in the County of Middlesex and when
they were an the bed in the said Room he this said
Informant found the hand of the said Elizabeth Crimes< no role >
in the right hand pocket of his breechespocketwho did
feloniously take from thence half a Guinea in Gold
five shillings in silver and one Clark one Class knife which
was taken out of hisBreechesWaistcoat pocket by the
said Elizabeth Crimes< no role > and at that time he saw same of the said
Money as he verily belives in the hand of the said
Elizabeth Crimes< no role > which was his Property
