Who being upon Oath Saith that a large quantity of Silk
Stockings and other Articles have been lately Stolen in
his Shop That in consequence of a Duplicate found
upon Joseph Barker< no role >
now present he enquired at the
House of John Hills< no role >
Pawn broker
in Brewer Street
where he found the twelve pair of Silk Stocking now
Produced ley James Padget< no role >
Shopman
to said John
Hills< no role >
That said Padget told this Informant he
received them in pledge of the said Barker for three
Guineas And this Informant further Says the said
Stockings air his property and were feloniously stole
in his Shop and that he verily believes said Padget
received the same well knowing them to have been
Stolen.
