And this Informant William Hodges< no role > for
himself sayeth, he is also a Journeyman to
Mr. John Fisher< no role > , that he was standing at
his Masters Shop Door, about Fine this
Afternoon, when he saw the Person now presents
who calls herself Sarah Young< no role > go out of the Shop
that presents after a Lady came up to this
Informant and asked him is a Person in
a Prink Coat had been in the Shop for if,
three had she had got some Muslin hanging
down from under his Coats, when this Informant
immediately went after her, and came up
with her at about a Hundred Yards distance
from the Shop and this Informant further
sayeth that just as he came up with the sd.
Sarah Young< no role > he saw her stoop and take
the Muslin from under her Petticoats &
put the same into her Apron, that he then
took her back to the Shop, wherein, when
she came near the Counter he saw her drop
the Muslin from her Apron and afterwards
give it a Thick in order to place it near
the Counter for the better concealing thereof
And this Informant also further sayeth
that the Piece of Checked Muslin now produced
is the Property of his Master John Fisher< no role >
and is the Dame which was taken from the
Shop and afterwards dropped therein by the
sd. Sarah Young< no role > at the time and in the Mans [..]
above described

And this Informant, James Collins< no role > for
himself sayeth, that he was this Afternoon
accidentally passing near to the Shop of
Mr. Fisher, he saw Crowd of People
whom he followed, being informed there was
some Shiplifters taking to the Public Office
in Poland Street , that is going thither they
took
