Informant a Piece of check Muslin, containing
Nine Yards of the Value of Thirty Shillings
now produced and which sd. Muslin is the
Property of this Informant

And this Informant Richard Reynolds< no role > for himself sayeth
he is a Journeyman to the other Informant
John Fisher< no role > , that about 5 oClock this Afternoon
the two Persons now present who call themselves
Sarah Young< no role > and Mary Arvin< no role > came into his
Masters Shop together, when Mary Arvin
asked this Informant to shew her some Muslin
which he did, when she sawed to him by her
Discourse not even to know well herself what she
wanted, however he shewed her several Parcels
of Muslin, when at last she bought 3 different
Articles that during the whole of the time, Sarah
Young
< no role > stood close by the other at the Counter
and this Informant from this manner and
Appearance at their first coming into the that
and keeping so close together the whole time
did and does verily believe that the sd. two Person
are well acquainted with each other, the he cannot
take upon himself to say he heard any sort
of Conversation pass between them, That some
time after the sd. Woman had been in the Shop
this Informant a said Sarah Young< no role > if she
did not want any thing when she said she
wanted some Lawn Handkerchiefs, which were
shewn to her, but she attend her Mend and
bought a Muslin Handkerchief for which
she paid and immediately afterwards went
out of the Shop, and presently after upon some
Intelligence being given he saw the sd. Sarah
Young
< no role > brought into the Shop by the other
Informant William Hodges< no role > , when he saw the
sd. Sarah Young< no role > , drop the Piece of Checked Muslin
now produced and which is the property of these
sd. Master near to the Counter
