The Information of Lazarus Moses< no role > of No. 5
Peters Cart Rosemary Lane in the County of
Middlesex Salesman Taken upon Oath before
me Joseph Jackney< no role > Esquire are of his
Majesty's Justices of the Peace in and for the
said County of Middlesex this 8th. day of
May 1787

This Informant upon his Oath saith that
on the 7th. day of this Instant May between the hours of
Eleven and twelve in the forenoon of the same day he
was called into a House in Blue Court Saffron Hill
in the Parish of Saint Andrew Holborn in the County
of Middlesex by a Woman who calls herself by the
name of Mary Cannon< no role > for the purpose of buying
a gown and Pettycoat and immediately on his
entering the said Room he was Assaulted Cut and
Wounded on the Head and Neck with a knife and
threatned to be Murdered as he this said Informant
has same reasons to believe by three Men who are
called by the Names of Thomas Porter< no role > , Ellick< no role > or
Alexander Bell< no role > and John Ward< no role > otherwise Spooney
Jacke and Robbed of five shillings in Silver his
Property and further upon his Oath saith that the
said Mary Cannon< no role > and another Woman was
then in the said Room
