The Information of John Langland< no role >
of Bulls head Court Great Queen Street Cabinet,
Make Taken the 25th. day of April 1787 .

Who upon his Oath Saith That about half past
10. o'Clock at Night on Saturday last as he was
Coming along drury Lane he met with one Mary
Bryan< no role > who asked him to treat her which he did
andwhichwent into a House with her in Cock Pit
Alley Drury Lane That he had not been there
above a Minute before another Woman who says her
Name is Ann Lack< no role > Came in also That they had some
Shrub together That Mary Bryan< no role > went out of the
Room and was gone about half a Minute at which
time Ann Lack< no role > Came up to him and put her hand
in his left hand Breeches Pocket and Took out about
Seven Shillings and a Silver bit and some half pence
and She also Took out his Watch from his Feb
and then She called out for the said Mary Bryan< no role >
Who Came and went to the Fire place and Took a pair
of Tongs and made a Blow at him but Missed him
and She there Dropped the Tongs and went again to the
fire place as he thought to Take some other thing to Strike
him withCastThat the said Two Women then called
out to some Man to come to their Assistance and this
Informant thought it best to get away which he did
and hath not seen either his Watch or money since
