The Information of Edward Sayer< no role > of
Blue Court Saffron Hill Smith Taken
upon Oath before me Joseph Faikney< no role >
Esqr . are of his Majesty's Justices of the
Peace in and for the said County of
Middlesex this 8th. day of Mary 1787

The said Informant upon his Oath saith that
on the said 7th. day of May Instant between the hours
of Eleven and twelve in the foreman of the same day
he heard a noise from a House facing where he
was at his window in Blue Court Saffron Hill
and immediately saw Three Men come from out
of the said House and soon after followed a Jew
as he believes by name Lazarus Moses< no role > and the
names of the said Three Men are Thomas Porter< no role > Ellick< no role >
or Alexander Bell< no role > and Spooney Jack were the
Persons that had [..] ill used the said Lazarus Moses< no role >
and soon after heard a great noise respecting the
said Lazarus Moses< no role > being Robbed who saw the said
three men go into the Alehouse known by the sign of
the Magpye and Horse shoe the Comer of Carolina
Court Saffron Hill which lead this said Informant
to go [..] into the said Alehouse and called for a pint of
Beer and there heard two of them by name Thomas
Porter
< no role > and Ellicke< no role > or Alexander Bill< no role > declare how they
had used the Jew and wished they had killed him [..]
