Who saith that he has been acquainted with one James Webster< no role >
for
about Twelve Months past and with George Spurgin< no role >
about Three Weeks
that on or about the first day of March Inst. the said James Webster< no role >
and
George Spurgin came to the Black Bull
in Thomas Street
Bethnal Green
and enquired for this Examinant who was at that time Drinking there who
went with them to another Public House where they drank some beer
together and afterwards Returned to the Black Bull
aforesd. [..] and there
Supped together That a day or two afterwards this Examinant met the
said [..] George Spurgin [..]
[..] at a Public House near where the said
George Spurgin at that time lived in Brown Lane
Spitalfields
who then
said to this Examinant "If you can get any Sheep or any thing else I
will buy them of you this Examinant then went with him to the said
Black Bull and there told the said George Spurging that he this Examt.
Should have some Sheep on the Monday following (this conversation was
on Saturday the 10th. day of March Instant at about eight of the Clock in
the Evening) who said he would be up in the Morning and Receive
them. That on Sunday Evening the 11th. Instant this Examinant
in Company with two others took [..] Three Lincolnshire and two
Nor folk Sheep from a Field near Hampstead
And at about the hour
of Six of the Clock the ensuing Morning being Monday the 12th. Inst.
they were drove into the Premisses of the said George Spurging< no role >
who
Received them and this Examinant and the said George Spurging
killed them The Skins of which this Examinant took away but they
were afterwards delivered to the said James Webster< no role >
at the [..]

and that four of the
Careases was sold to the said Thomas Smith< no role >
and the other to
the said George Spurging. This Examinant also further
Voluntarily Confesseth and saith that on Thursday the 15th.
