That the said person unknown and the said William
Lycett
< no role > the person now present produced Five Guineas and
this Informant also produced Two Guineas and a half
And this Informant Saith the said person unknown
immediately took the said Money from him and said he
would make it up the five Guineas, but never returned the
two Guineas and a half again - And this Informant
saith That the said Person unknown said he would give
Five Guineas if either of the said Persons then present
could produce a hundred pounds - and the said William
Lycett
< no role > the person now present said that he could - and
immediately applied to this Informant to know if he
could produce a hundred pounds, and this Informant said
he could, and would fetch it immediately - And this
Informant saith that he accordingly went out and got
three Bank Notes one for Fifty pounds No. 4754 another for
Thirty pounds No. 8365. and another for Twenty pounds
No. 2137, from the Bankers and came back to the persons
now present where he had left them. And this
Informant Saith that when he had got into the house again
the said William Lycett< no role > and John Jenkins< no role > the persons
now present were drinking together - and this Informant
produced the said Bank Notes on the Table, and the said
William Lycett< no role > now present immediately catched hold of
ofone of the said Bank Notes for Twenty pounds and gave the
some to the said John Jenkins< no role > the other person now present
and the said person unknown then took the other two Bankhstes
above mentioned namely the one for Fifty pounds & the
other for Thirty pounds out of this Informants pocket book
