Who upon their Oaths say and first the said Samuel
Collins< no role >
for himself saith That on Thursday Evening
last about the hour of 9 o' Clock as he was at Work
in the One pair of Stairs room of his Dwelling House
in Brokers Alley
Drury Lane
he heard a Noise
in the Street and asked the Boy if the door was fastened
he and it was soon afterwards he heard his Dog
bark and he came down into the Shop and found the
Street door open and the following Things were
Stolen (Viz) Two Looking Glasses and Two
[..] Tea chests, He had Inspicion of Four
Boys whom he saw lusking about his House the
same Evening and went in search of Them That
the next Morning he went again in search of
the said Boys and about 9 o' Clock in the Morning
as he was walking down King Street

he met Three [..] Boys in Company together
one of them Ran away the other Two he took into
Custody Namely Daniel Marchant< no role >
and
Thomas Clayton< no role >
and upon Clayton he found
the Two Glasses and one Mahogany Tea Chest
which are his property and the same that were
