Who being on Oath severally say and first the said Samuel
Hill< no role >
for himself saith That a he was returning from London
to Reten Wells
between the Hours of seven and eight o' clock on the
twenty fifth day of November last That a Person whom he
verily believes to be James Chandler< no role >
one of the Prisoners
now present seized him by the Shoulder and demanded his
Money and hold him while John Mand< no role >
the other Prisoner
now present came up and took away from his person the Sum
of half a Guinea and half a brown And this Informant further
Says that while the Person whom he supposes to be James
Chandler< no role >
held him by the Shoulder he heard him say to
John Mand whom he is positive to "why don't you pull out
"your Bludgeon" And the said Christopher bridland< no role >
and Robert
Edwards< no role >
for themselves severally say that they were on the Patrole
duly on the twenty sixth day of November last between six
and seven o' Clock in the Evening they apprehended the said two
Prisoners near Shepherds Bush Common
on the Acton Road
Armed with the Bludgeons now Produced.
