The Information of Jane< no role > wife of Joseph
Bearblock
< no role > and Alce Berry< no role > Spinster
taken before [..] of his Majesty's
Justices of the peace for the said County

Who being severally upon Oath say-And
first this Informant Jane Bearblock< no role > for herself
Saith That she keeps a house in High Street
Saint Giles in the fields , that about half an hour
after six last night two persons with drawn
cutlasses came into this Informant's shop, upon
which she left the parlour and went into the
shop when the said two persons said "Your life
or your money"-when this Informant said
"I Keep no Till, I have no Money, when the
said two men said "Money we want, and money
we will have" And immediately one of the
said Men seized this Informant put a drawn
Cutlass to her throat Rifled her pockets and
took from her half a Guinea in Gold some
silver and half pence, And the other man held
a Cutlass to the throat of the other Informant
Alce Berry who cried out to this Informant
"Pray give them your watch to save your life"
which she accordingly did, they then left this
Informant and took two silver tea Spoons
from off the shelf in the same Room, they
then took the candle put it threw it on the
floor and on their going away said they night
think themselves well off that they would
return the next evening and Strip, the house
and on their going out, double locked the
