this 14th. day of September 1786
This Informant upon his Oath saith that he was on the 12 day of this Instant
September at Beggar Bush Fair
in the County of Middlesex
on his Business
as a dealer in Horses and that the Prisoner Robt. Beale< no role >
offered the Golding
(now Sworn to by Hemming Laver< no role >
) to Sell unto John King< no role >
for the sum of ten
Pounds Upon hearing that price askd for the Gelding he went into the Crown
Ale House
at Beggar Bush
and askd. who was Selling that Golding and was
Inform'd the prisonr Robt. Beale and he asked Robt. Beale how he got it
and he said he bought it at Harley Bush Fair
for Eleven Pounds and
this Informant told him he thought he had stole it. John King< no role >
said what
was that to him how he got it for he had bought it. this Informant then
sent for a Constable and gave Charge of the said Robt. Beale< no role >
and Attended
him to Wm. Blackborow< no role >
house in Clerkenwell Close
