Stable Keeper , Taken before me this 9th day
of October 1786 .

Who being upon Oath say and first the said John Curtis< no role >
saith, that about a Month ago he sent a single Noise Chaise Harness
to Mr. Tattersall's at Hyde Park Corrur, for Sale Leonard Ing for himself
saith that he saw the Prisoner James Higgs< no role > take a Tonnet, out of a Saddle
in Mr. Tatterwells yard as above and put it into his Coat Pocket, Edmond
Tattenall< no role > for himself says that being inform'd by one of his Men that the [..] Prisoner James Higgs< no role > had
been stealing Tarrets he Collar'd him, when she the said James Higgs< no role >
took the two Tarrets now produced out of his Pocket, John Cartis< no role > for
himself further saith that the two Tarrets now produced are his
Property and were fixed in the Harness which he sent to Mr. Tatters all as aforesaid
