Portland Road in the said Parish when he met the
person now present called John White< no role > carrying the
Mahagony Table and other things before mentioned now
produced & Sworn to be the property of the other
Informant David Brownley< no role > [..] Inspecting they
were dishonestly come by he apprehended the said
John White< no role > who told him he was Carrying the said
Goods from Gibbins to Carnaby Market that as
this Informant was Conveying him to the Watchhouse
when he came to Cavendish Square the said John
White< no role > threw down the Mahagony Table & Attempted
to Make his Escape when this Informant Ring his
Rattle Upon which the other Informant Mathew
Simpson came to his Assistance and Secured him
And this Informant further saith that he went to
the Lodgings of the said John White< no role > near the
House of David Brownley< no role > and at the Door of the House
he there found the Pick Ax now produced which he saw
applied to the several Impressions on the Window
before described & Observed that the said Pick Ax
fitted the same Exactly

And this Informant Mathew Simpson< no role > for himself
saith that he is a Watchman of the Parish of Saint
Mary le Bone that this Morning about five oClock
being upon his Beat near Cavendish Square he
heard the Battle & Immediately ran to the Assistance
of the other Informant John Wilson< no role > whom he found
to have [..] a Man in his Custody who had Endeavoured
to Escape and Assisted the said John Wilson< no role > in
securing the said Man & Conveying him to the Watchhouse
