day of September 1786
Who being upon Oath say, and first the said Valentine
Walker< no role >
for himself saith that a Quantity of gold turnings now produced
of the value of twelve shillings and upwards he doth verily
believe to be his property and to have been stolen form
him lately at different timesAnd the said John Heather< no role >
for
himself says that this Morning a person now present who calls
himself Patrick Mc. Mahon< no role >
came to his Shop with said
Gold, and offered it to Sale, saying [..] that it belonged to a
young Man a Watch can maker and that he had given him eight penny worth
of by sters for it and afterwards contradicted it from which
he suspected said Mc. Maker to have Stolen it and caused
him to be secured
