Joseph Rutherforth< no role > of Windsor Court in the Strand
Stone Mason Upon his Oath Saith That about Seven oClock
on the Monday Evening being in his House and hearing
a Noise went into the Court saw two Men
strippedtoand fighting Deponent looked for deceased
because he heard he had been fighting in the Afternoon
and saw he was one but so bloody he scarce know him
and the person fighting with him was as Deponent is
informed one Neale Saw deceased fall on
his hands and knees Deponent interfered said he
should not fight and thought he was fuddled or badly
water both and took him up and endeavoured
to bring him off but was prevented by one of the
Carpenters altho he told them deceased was not
able to fight and thought they had beat him long enough
called them Rascals and a shed if they meant to
kill him and then Deponents Wife in a manner
pulled him awayAfter this Deponent again
endeavoured to get deceased away to wash him at the
pump.in doing which thinks Neale struck the
deceased behind and he fell again and several times
afterwards and does not know what became of Harrison
afterwards
