Injury he had received and found a wound of about
half an inch in diameter made with a pistol bullet on the left Side of his belly near the house which
had wounded the intestines in several places in its
passage thought he deceaseds Body and was extracted
from the back part of the left Highthe deceased
died on the next Day between two and three in
the Afternoon of the said Wound.Saith he
was present when the deceaseds Deposition was
takenSaith that before such Deposition
was taken a Man (who with others that had been
taken upon on Suspicion) was brought into The Ward
where the deceased lay (and which Man deceased
at the time his Deposition was taken seemed to
think had Shot him) and deceased then Said he
was the Man or like the Man that had Shot
himSaith that the said Man was (as
Deponent afterwards was informed) called Cuthbert
