Middlesex to Wit

The Information of Jacob Aarons< no role > Servant to
Uziel Barrugh< no role > of Duke Street Dukes Place
in the City of London Butcher taken before me this
9th.. day of March 1785

Who being upon Oath saith that on Sunday morning last
about ten Minutes past 7 o'Clock William Harding< no role > now present and
William Stewart< no role > came to his Masters House in Duke Street
aforesaid and walked up into his Kitchen at which time his
Master Barrugh was smoaking his Pipe at the DoorThat
in about ten Minutes said Hardings Wife came apparently
having something heavy and bulky under her Petticoats
That Informants Mistress called him up into her Bed Chamber
two paid of stairs where William Harding< no role > and William Steward< no role >
were with her and all the Silver Plate now produced standing
on a TableThat his Mistress said to him Jacob this large
Cup meaning the Tankard cannot be weighed so being so heavy
go and get the ShearsThat Informant went down and met
Nathan the Boy at the Door who was going up StairsInformant
told him he could not go up then Nathan asked him why
Informant replied that Bill Harding< no role > Bill Steward< no role > and Hardings
Wife were aboveNathan asked him if they had brought any
thing Informant replied yesthatthey have brough some Silver.
Informant then took the Shears and went up into his Mistress's
Bed Room where he cut the Tankard by his Mistress's orders
Steward and Harding being presentInformant then went
down again and being called up again he went into the
