Who being on Oath says that in Consequence of Information
being received at Hastings
that, Dr.. Burney's House in Saint Martins
Street
Luicester Fields
, had been broke open and robbed of a considerable
Sum of Money by his late Servant
, a Person now Present who
calls himself Thomas Hancock< no role >
was apprehended at Hastings on
the 21st. of March last and delivered into this Informants custody
That this Informant Searched said Hancock and in his Breeches
found an old Stocking containing 15 Guineas. and also a
Purse containing 24 Guineas which said Sums of Money said
Hancock said he had acquired by Servitude
