taken on Oath the 12th day of March 1785
before me
one of his Majestys Justices of the Peace
for the County
of Middlesex
Who on their Oaths Says and each of them for himself Saith
that they are Servants
to John< no role >
and Jacob Jamet< no role >
Merchants
and
Co partners of the Liberty of Norton Folgate
in the County of Middlesex
And Saith that last night about Seven [..] O'Clock in the Evening they
were sent by Mr. Jacob Jamt to watch [..] Ware house of theirs
in White Lyon street
in the Joseph of Christ Church
, the said
Warehouse having been the night before shipped of a large
Quantity of Lead which was not then taken away but left on
the Premisses, And further Saith that last night about Eight oClock
these Informants then being in the said Warehouse they saw

the Prisoner now under Examination under the Wall
receiving from some Person who was on the Top of the Warehouse
a Quantity of Lead and immediately the said Samuel
Ledimore< no role >
caught hold of the said John Cox< no role >
and took him into
Custody And both these Informats says that they Saw the said
John Cox< no role >
the Prisoner drop the said Lead [..] new produced by them
weight One Hundred and forty Pounds [..]
out of him hands into the Street.
