The Information of Robert Moffatt< no role > (at John
Moffatts Margaret street St Mary le bone ) Mariner
Taken before me this 21st day of August 1784.

Who being on Oath says that on Wednesday Night last the 18th instant
about 11 o'Clock he met with a Person now present who calls herself
Martha Fisher< no role > in Long Acre . That he went with her to her Lodgings
in Cross Lane nar Drury Lane , where he went to Bed with said
Martha Fisher< no role > That they had not been in Bed More then fire Minutes
before said fisher made an Excuse and got out of Bed and went out
of the room; on her not returning this informant searched his Pockets
and found that 4 Guineas & three half Crowns. had been taken out of
his breeches pocket. and on Informant searching the Room, found that
a Waistocat and a Handkerchief had also been taken. And this Informant
further saith that he is certain that he had said Money in his Pocket
at the time he went into said Room, and that no other person had been
in, except the said Martha Fisher< no role > , until he missed said Money.
