The Information of James Fergusson< no role > taken on
Oath this 10th day of July 1784

Who saith that on Tuesday the Sixth day of July about
four o'Clock in the Afternoon as he was going along
a place called Out Throat Lanehenear Old Ford
he was met by two men (one of whom is now present
and says his Name is William Collop< no role > ) who Stopped
this Informant,andThat the said William Collop< no role > presented a
Drawn knife to his Breast and demanded his Money
Saith that the other Man pulled this Informants Hat over
his Face and told him to hold it there,Saiththat
he gave one of them which he believes to be the last
mentioned person all the Money he had in his
Breeches Pockets which was about four or five
Shillings in Silver and a pair of Silver Studs
That the said William Collop< no role > took his Buckles out
of his Shoes which were metal ones,That the other
out with
and afterwards out [..] a pair of
Silver knee Buckles from this Informants Breeches
and told him then to go about his Business and look
back if he daredSaith that he does not know
any thing of the other person now present with
Collop and who says his Name is Edward Lucas< no role >
nor could he swear to the person of the other
man who was in company with Collop,wasat the time of the Robbery if
he were now present.
