The Information of John Smith< no role > of
High Holborn Hosier Taken the 14th. day of
September 1784.

Who upon his Oath Saith That about 4, oClock yesterday
afternoon Two Men Namely George Green< no role > and Benjamin
Colburn< no role > came into his Shop and pretended They [..]
Buy some Stockings That he Shewed them several
Sorts of Stockings but they purchased none That
Col born went out of the Shop and Green was following him
but this Informant having suspicion of their having Stolen
Someting he Se [..] ed him and one pair of Silk Stockings of
the Value of Eight Shillings were found in the possession
of Green and one other pair of Silk Stockings of the Value
of Eight Shillings which were Taken by Colburn he has not
[..] seen.
