13th day of August 1784
Who being on his Oath saith That about four o'Clock this
Morning he heard the Gates of his Yard Rattle and
presently after heard one of his Geese cry out upon
which he got up and went out and saw two persons
in his Yard and one at the out side whose face he
did not see Thatend ofthe Two persons now present
who call themselves William Morgan< no role >
and Peter Bond< no role >
are the two persons he so saw in his Yard That
the said William Morgan< no role >
had [..] several Worsted
Stockings in his hand which he threw down and Ran
Away That the said Peter Bond< no role >
had a Copper
pot in his hand which he [..] dropped and thenalso
Ran away That the said Stockings and pot [..]
now producedandare the property of this
Informant and were left in his said Yard over
Night. That he pursued the said two last
mentioned persons and with the Assistance
of two Watchmen apprehended them near
Mile End new Town
Watchhouse and there had
them secured That the three dead Geese now
also produced are likewise his property
which he found killed in his said Yard. That
the two pewter Dishes and one Plate [..] now
also produced are his property
and had been removed from the
place where theywerehad been put on
the night before and were found
near the place where the said
Peter Bond< no role >
