The Information of Letitia [..] Bowman< no role > and John
Moore
< no role > and William [..] taken on Oath the
19th day of June 1784 before me one of his Majestys
Justices of the Peace for the County of Middlesex

This Informant Letitia [..] Bowman< no role > Saith That on Wednesday last
the sixteenth day of June Instant between one and two O'Clock
in the afternoon there was stolen and carried away from this
Informants Dwelling house in Kingsland in the Parish of
Saint John Hackney one Silver Watch with a Metal Chain and
hook and a Metal Seal and one Gold Seal the property of this
Informant And further Saith that a Silver Watch now produced
by John Moore< no role > is the property of this Informant and the
same that was stolen from her as above set forth.

Letitia Bowman< no role >

This Informant John Moore< no role > Saith That on Wednesday last
the sixteenth day of June Instant about Two O'Clock in the
Afternoon he was then in Mare street Hackney, and heard
the call of Stop thief and seeing, James Pulett< no role > , Peter
Wookcock, Nicholas English< no role > , and Francis Joyce< no role > the Prisoners
now under Examination, walking along in Mutton lane
this Informant walked after them and pursedand
them till they were taken by this Informant and William
Megee and two others who assisted in pursuing them And
further Saith that the said James Pulett< no role > , Peter Woodcock< no role >
Nicholas English< no role > and Frances Joyce< no role > were all fourtogether
in Company together, And further saith that just as
he was comeing up to Joyce he saw the Prisoner Joyce
take out of a Black Handkerchief a Silver Watch and throw
it into a Field amongst Some Cabbages where this
Informant went and found the same.
