The several Informations of Dennis Murphy< no role >
and William Collings< no role > Taken the Eleventh day
of June 1784.

This Informant Dennis Murphy< no role > for himself
Saith That he lodges at the House of Robert
Kingston
< no role > of Bayn brigg street Saint Giles in
the fields That he had a Deal Box in the Lodging
Room which contained his Wearing Apparell and same Money and Watch
That he had occasion to go to the Box for something
when he Missed all his Money amounting to
Twenty Guineas which were in a piece of a Silk
Stocking That the Purse and Silver Watch now
produced are his property and were Stolen from
his Lodging room aforesaid yesterday afternoon
And this Informant William Collins< no role > for
himself Saith That upon receiving Information
of the above Felony he went in Search of there
Felony That at a Lodging House Rented by one
Palmer in Church Lane Saint Giles in the fields
aforesaid he Took into Custody the Prisoner John
Hyde
< no role > on suspicion of being the person who Committed
such Felony That he was then in Bed up one pair
of Stair's asleep and upon Searching found the Piece
of Silk Stocking containing 16 Guineas lying on the Bed
and the Watch was Hanging on the Bed Certain which
was Immediately Claimed by the said Dennis Murphy< no role >
