Who being on Oath say and first the said Edward Turner< no role >
says that
last Night about 9 o'Clock his Maid Servant went to fetch some Beer and
left the Street Door unlocked that on her return she said she saw a Man come from
the door and when she came she catled out that all the Hats were Stolen
out of the parlourthatAnd the said John Turner< no role >
says that on the Maid
Servant saying the Hats were Stolen he immediately pursued and in
Drury Lane
overtook a person now present who calls himself Peter Le Rocke< no role >
with three Hats under his Arm when Informant secured said Le Rocke
and said Hats and this Informant further says that one of said Hats
found upon said Le Rocke< no role >
is his property and one of the Hats that
was so Stolen.
