The Information of Thomas Hill< no role > of Pall Mall Hosier
Glover, Arthur Reeves< no role > Servant to the said Thomas Hill< no role >
Ann Lord< no role > at the sign of the Hope at Charing Cross and
John Walker< no role > Servant to the said Ann Lord< no role > taken before
me this 27th. 1784.

Who being on Oath sat and first the said Thomas Hill< no role > says that on friday
Night last the 23 instant he packed up a parcel of Glovers in a Brown paper and left
them on the Counter in his Shop. That on Saturday morning the 24th. instant this Informant
to the best of his belief saw said parcel on said counter were he left it.
that about 9 o'Clock this Informant came into the shop again and missed
said parcel. And the said Arthur Reeves< no role > says that on Saturday morning
last about 9 o'Clock two persons now presentcame into his Master shopwho call
themselves Elizabeth Green< no role > alias Wood and Robert Jones< no role > came into his
Master shop and bargained for apair of stockings and apair of Gloves
and said Green said she would call again for them that on Informant's Master coming
into the shop and missing said Parcel, asked Informed who had been
in the shop; and this Informant further says that no person had been
into said shop on Saturday morning last before said parcel was Missed
but said Green alias Wood and Jones. And the said Ann Lord< no role > says
that on saturday Morning last the 24th. Instant when she came down Stairs
between 9 and 10 Clock she found a parcel in her Bar and saw a Man who
had left it there, drinking a pint of beer in the Tap Room. That said Man
went away and in a Short time returned with another Man and said
Green alias Wood and Jones That they drank some Beer and then went
away and took said parcel with them. And said John Walker< no role > says that on
said Saturday morning last about 9 o'Clock a Man came into his Master
house and desried to leave aparcel in the Bar. That he drank assiant of Beer &
then went away but soon Returned with another Man and the said Green
alias Wood and Jones with them That they had some Beer and then
went away all together.
