The Information of David Mc.. Corminck< no role > taken
before me this 10th.. day of April 1784

Who being on Oath says that he is First Mate of the Vernon
Merchant on Storeship Bound to Jamaica< no role > belonging to
William Robinson< no role > Esqr. and Captain Francis Hall< no role > , now lying
at Woolwich. That Sometime in the Month of January 1783
He was employed as a Clerk by the said William Robinson< no role >
and continued in that Station till about the middle of
April following That on a Sunday first preceding this
Informants leaving Mr. Robinson's Service he went to
Said Mr. Robinson's house at Clapham to Dine with
him. That after Dinner the Said Mr. Robinson pro-
duced two Paper Writings to this Informantnow produced
requesting this Informant would Copy them, which this
Informant accordingly did. That the Paper Writing
now produced purporting to be Order by Sir Edward
Hughes
< no role > Knight of the Bath to Mr. Gambold Purser< no role > of
the Superb, Dated at Gorce the 9th. of May 1779,
Requiring and directing the said Mr. Gambold to deliver
certain Provisions & therein Specified for the Use of
the said Garrison of Gorce, and also a Receipt
bearing date the 10th. of May 1779 toperthe Said Mr.
Gambold for the said Provisions Etc for the Use of the said
Garrison of Gorce, is the Copy, which this Informant
so made from the Paper Writings produced by the said
Mr. Robinson to this Informant at this House at
Clapham as aforesaid. That when this Informant
