delivered the said Copy to the said Mr. Robinson (which
he is very sure was in the Month of April 1783)
the Name "Edward Hughes< no role > " was not Signed to the
said Order nor the Name and Addition of "James
Rooke< no role > Leiut Colonels" to the said Receipt. That
when this Informant had Copied the said Paper
Writings the said Mr. Robinson and this Informant
examined the said Copies with the Original produced
by the said Mr. Robinson to this Informant as
aforesaid. That a Day or two after the said
Sunday at the Compting House of the said Mr Robinson
in the Victualling Office , by the said Mr Robinson's
directions he wrote the Account now produced
intitled "Superbe Extra expence of Casks & Hoops
between the 17th July 1778 & 2d. April 1780" and
Certificate thereunto added; from a Paper given
to this Informant by the saidMr. Robinson for that
purpose That when this Informant had wrote the said
Account and Certificate, he delivered the same to said
Mr. Robinson, at which time the Name "R Simonton"
was not Signed thereto
